Story
Her hands were tied with a cable for a long time so that upon arrival at the sanctuary she could not move her hand or hold onto her surrogate mother by herself as other orphans would do. With the care of dedicated veterinaries and the surrogate mother, Bokona could overcome this physical nerve trauma. After 2 weeks of massage and exercise, Bokona was able to use her hand again. Now she has become a member of a group of 11 orphans at the nursery where she can fully recover and play with her peers.
